ATHLETES' OBLIGATIONS

General  
All athletes are expected to participate at the entire event program which is designed to promote the sport in the most professional way. The event program can include press conferences, workshops, side events, award presentation etc.
Each competitor is expected to conduct himself in an appropriate and professional manner.
Consuming alcohol, drugs or doping is not allowed.
WHDF has the authority to exclude competitors who do not comply with the rules.

Inscription / License
All athletes have to complete and sign the WHDF entry application form including the risk acceptance. Any entries received after the date indicated in the entry application form will only be accepted at the discretion of WHDF and in combination with a penalty.

Risks Insurance / Security
- all competitors are responsible for holding a risk insurance policy at their own expense.
- WHDF declines any responsibility for injuries incurred during participation in WHDF events.
- all participants must follow the directions given by security staff, officials etc. 
- no diving is permitted until the security team is completely ready. 

Dive-list  
The competitors have to complete and sign their dive-lists and send them to WHDF as indicated in the entry application form.
Any dive-lists received after the indicated date will only be accepted at the discretion of WHDF and with a penalty.

Outfits  
The costumes of all competitors shall be in good moral taste, non-transparent and suitable for the activity (no wetsuits allowed). 
Competitors are allowed to wear tooth protection and articulation bandages.
Diving with any kind of accessories is not permitted. 

Personal sponsors  
- the competitor has to inform WHDF about personal sponsors. 
- publicity for tobacco and alcohol is not permitted.
- representing companies which are on the red list is not permitted. The red list is available on request.
- sponsor logos on t-shirts, caps etc. are allowed with no measure restriction.
- advertising on swimsuits can not exceed the following measures: 20 cm² on the front area and 36 cm² on the back area
- advertising body tattoos are not allowed.

WHDF does not participate in personal sponsor contracts, which occur without mediation of WHDF.  
- WHDF charges 20 % commission for mediated sponsor contracts.

Athletes pay for

- all personal extras
